Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff is made up of four individuals with a variety of wrestling and coaching experience. Each and every practice, it’s their mission to support our athletes and push them to the next level. The coaching staff helps our team reach their potential, both physically and psychologically. Meet the people who help make Forest City Wrestling Club what it is today.
Katie (Patroch) Belkalem
Katie grew up in London where she started her wrestling career at Saunders S.S. under coach Harry Geris. She competed at Lakehead University for four years. Returning to London to pursue a teaching career, Katie competed on the national team and trained at Western University. She had several successes at international competition including:
Commonwealth Championships (gold, silver), Pan American Championships (gold), Dave Shultz Memorial (silver), World Cup (silver), World Championships (5th).
Katie currently teaches at H.B. Beal S.S. and is a NCCP Comp/Int trained wrestling coach.
